Chris and Danielle Fisher have come together with their children, pets and goals of cultivating celebration of life creatively in every community they encounter. Clayote is a collaboration of personal, whimsical fine art for sale, commissioned murals and mosaic/shadowbox installations, and community connection enhancement though classes and events for any age, ability, situation or background.  Danielle's MUDPUPPIES and MUDSLINGER classes have had positive and enthusiastic support for the Northern AZ communities for the past 7 years.  The artwork has been enjoyable for collectors from all continents.

Although both Danielle and Chris are PA Natives, Danielle has lived in Arizona for 7 years, as an art teacher, mother, and artist.  Chris joined her in AZ a year ago and has since then found in himself love of family life, nature-connected living, teaching and talent.  Once the family became unified, it became time to return east, to reconnect the family to their much larger family and "roots".  CLAYOTE has taken what it's learned on its travels and integrated unique styles and techniques into the new and old hearts and palates of Berks County and surrounding.

Family and business life is anything but boring at CLAYOTE'S home base in Pikeville Township.  In the woods live Danielle, Chris, Nathan (8) and Ben (6), Picasso the Mustang, Scooby and Velma the Cats, Max the husky, Lucy the hound, and Spicy the lab.  The Spring has brought a busy time to CLAYOTE, and they will be expanding their curriculum and space in June. There is no Nickelodeon in this household, and the kids can be found doing such activities as hiking, dog walking, berry picking and making art, and swimming at their friends.  Both children insist that they love art and going to classes sometimes with Mom and Dad, and even assisting at nursing homes and daycare's.  When they aren't on the clock, their spirits are still connected to the studio.

For tours or field trips to Clayote's Home art studio, wait for an invitation to one of the monthly pot-luck/ kiln firings.  Warning you will leave belly-filled and smelling a bit smoky!
